Jacksonville University Accelerated Degree Program Overview

Jacksonville University's degree program for adult learners, called the Accelerated Degree Program, provides the opportunity for adults to complete a bachelor’s degree without putting their career or family on hold. 

The Admissions staff is located in the J. Arthur Howard Administration Building on the first floor.  Our address is 2800 University Boulevard North, Jacksonville FL  32211-3394.  We welcome drop-ins or you can contact us at 904-256-7245 Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment.

Classes are offered in two eight-week sessions in each of the three semesters per year.  Courses will meet one time per week for three hours in a classroom and an additional two hours will be conducted online or with other required components.  Click here for additional instructions on the WebLesson.

The in-class portion of the evening courses will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:50 p.m.  Weekend courses will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. on Saturday morning and 1:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

For graduation status, the student must have earned 120 credit hours minimum and completed all requirements within the major.  All degree requirements are offered in the Adult Degree Program on the Jacksonville University campus.

Corporate Reimbursement Payment Option

To apply for the Corporate Reimbursement payment option (accepted students only), please click here for a copy of the form.  You can print the form on your local printer, complete the information and then either mail it to the Controller's office (see address below) or drop it off in person at the Student Financial Services area located on the first floor of the J. Arthur Howard Administration Building.
