Foundation Relations

The university receives external funding from a variety of private and public foundations to support the mission of the university - teaching and learning. The Office of Institutional Advancement seeks appropriate resources to support identified university priority projects. This process involves identification of the most likely sources of funding, cultivation of selected sources and then implementation of a winning strategy to secure the needed resources. To insure future success and continued good relationships with foundation supporters, this office also is responsible for stewardship -- meaning the judicious use and reporting on funds received.
